The Sanctuary of forest gives rich pastures for a variety of Deer that wild Boar for Caracal and the Chousingha, Leopards and Pangolin included in forest of dry deciduous vegetation and bamboo from Udaipur at 108 km. A wildlife sanctuary is the Sita Mata Wildlife Sanctuary which is situated in the Pratapgarh district in Rajasthan, India. One of the richest sanctuaries from the biota point of view is Sita Mata Sanctuary. You can see flora vast varieties here, apart from the diverse fauna that houses.

From Udaipur, about 108 km, the sanctuary is located in dry deciduous vegetation and bamboo. Over the Aravali ranges, sprawl of this thickly wooded jungle and through the forest, the Malwa plateau with three rivers flowing. The Sita Mata Wildlife Sanctuary gives rich pastures for a Deer variety that for Caracal wild boar and the Chousingha, Leopards and Pangolin are included. This is the only forest region where building value’s teak trees are found and is spread over the mountain range of Vindhyachal and Aravali. Around 50 % teaks are trees in this sanctuary.

It is called Sita Mata Sanctuary because mythology says that Goddess Sita who was the wife of Lord Rama stayed during the period of her exile in this sanctuary, if mythology is to be believed. Also found in abundance are this of beside bamboo Bel, Salar, Amla and Tendu. Here, the animals found are fox, Nilgai, leopard, spotted deer, four horned antelope, hyena, porcupine, fox, wild bear and jungle cat. This sanctuary is spread of mainly deciduous known for its Teak tree of ancient about 423 sq km. An ideal is this place if one is looking for a scenic plenty of fresh air, countryside and peace.

Two very unique accommodation options available are there. The flying squirrel is the Sita Mata Sanctuaries most conspicuous animal which after sunset can be seen gliding from one tree to another. It hides in the hollow during the day and nocturnal are its activities. Between February and March is the best time to see this squirrel when it is easier to spot the squirrel on the leafless trees branches and most of the trees shed their leaves. The total flora present’s approximately half in park teak trees constitute.

How to Reach

By Road: One can easily get private taxis and local buses that will take the tourist till the Sita Mata Sanctuary from there after reaching Jaipur or Udaipur.
By Train: Chittorgarh and Mandsaur is the nearest railway station. Regular trains that connect Jaipur to important cities such Ahmedabad, Delhi and Mumbai are there.
By Air: At Udaipur, Dabok airport is 145 km which are well connected to main cities of India. From here, taxis are easily available.
